Traumatic Brain Injury

It’s estimated that 5.3 million Americans currently live with disabilities resulting from traumatic brain injury. Vehicle crashes are the leading cause of brain injury, followed by falls.

Brain injury can have many consequences. Some are short-term and long-term memory loss, slowed ability to process information, difficulty with concentration, impaired judgment, difficulty in initiating or completing tasks, seizures, speech impairments, fatigue, balance problems, anxiety, depression, impulsive behavior and agitation.
