Learn about building flavors in recipes incorporating more herbs and spices and less salt. We’ll focus on the appropriate use of different spices and herbs, for instance dry vs. fresh and when in the recipe to add them. We will also talk about how simple and convenient it can be to have your own herb garden. We will discuss tips for starting and keeping an herb garden also. There will be a recipe demonstration with sample tasting for all participants as well.
