Learn best practices for food safety in your kitchen. Try to outsmart registered dietician Benjamin Glurich of Cornell Cooperative Extension. Walk through a recipe utilizing the latest food safety guidelines.
Take a Virtual Garden Tour of Butchart Gardens, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada on Tues. April 24 at 1:00 p.m. Federated Garden Club of NYS member, Maryann Jumper, will show the world renown garden with beautiful flora on display during any season. Maryann is a lifelong Ken-Ton resident and a member of the World Association of Flower Arrangers.

Kenmore Arts Society Features Local Mother-Daughter Team
Kenmore, NY – The beautiful oil paintings of Dorothy Pennell will be on display alongside the exquisite photographs taken by her daughter, Shawn Marie Kirwan, at the Schofield Residence 3333 Elmwood Ave. in Kenmore from December 2 through December 30. Schofield’s monthly art display showcases the work of local artists from the Kenmore Art Society, a partnership that has spanned more than 30 years.
The exhibit is free and open to the public M-F from 8:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m., and from 9:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. on weekends and holidays.

Kenmore, NY, Nov. 16, 2017 – Schofield Home Care Services, located at 2757 Elmwood Avenue in the Town of Tonawanda, is holding a Chiavetta’s Chicken BBQ Fundraiser on Friday, Dec. 1 between the hours of 3:00 and 6:00 p.m. The drive-thru event will include chicken, potato salad, cole slaw and a roll.
Pre-sale tickets for $10 may be purchased at the Home Care office or at Schofield Residence at 3333 Elmwood Ave. between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily. Tickets will also be available on the day of the event, but walk-ins cannot be guaranteed a dinner.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit Schofield’s Home Health Services, offering rehabilitation therapy, nursing and home health aides to Erie and Niagara county residents. Schofield Home Health is a part of Schofield Care, a not-for-profit, community-based organization serving more than 700 individuals a week in home care, adult day health care, rehabilitation and long term nursing care.
