The Adult Day Health Care program is invaluable to individuals seeking alternatives to nursing home placement. Located on the Third Floor of Sheehan Health Network, 425 Michigan Avenue in Buffalo, the program provides physical, occupational and speech therapies, nursing care, personal care, case management and other services in a supportive group environment. Common diagnoses for people benefiting from the program include strokes, joint replacements, fractures, amputations, arthritis, Parkinson's disease, diabetes, multiple sclerosis and traumatic brain injury.

The Schofield Adult Day Health Care Program operates two sessions, five days a week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 to 6:30 p.m., and one session on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Most registrants attend a minimum of five hours.
